Scorpius Dance Theater’s 10-Year Anniversary Showcase features a program offering alternate repertory May 21-24, with discounts available for those who purchase tickets to both shows.

    “10: We Will Rock You,” shows off the most significant repertory works from artistic director and choreographer, Lisa Starry. It will also premiere Starry’s new work, “Sympathy for the Devil”—a high-energy, group piece set to the Rolling Stones classic. “10” will be performed by the current company of 20 dancers, which now boasts six males, along with returning guest appearances by Footklan, Edgar Soto, and Scorpius Alumni dancers.

    The shows take place on the Phoenix Theatre Main Stage, 100 E. McDowell Road. Over the span of five performances, there will be two programs offering alternate repertory. Purchase seats for both Program 1 & 2 and get $5 off each. The schedule is as follows: Program 1, 8 p.m. Thursday, May 21, 1 p.m. Saturday, May 23, and 1 p.m. Sunday, May 24; Program 2, 8 p.m. Friday, May 22, and Saturday, May 23.
