Anesthesiologists sought for trip

EsperanÁa, a Phoenix-based nonprofit association, is looking for two licensed anesthesiologists willing to volunteer their time for a surgical mission in Bolivia.

Volunteers are responsible for their air travel and gathering surgical supplies. EsperanÁa pays for food and lodging while volunteers are at the project site, and associated costs for the surgeries (facility, lab work, medication, etc).

Missions are scheduled for June 12-26, and July 21-Aug. 4. Both teams already have a general surgeon and scrub nurse ready to go. If you are interested in volunteering, contact Christina Araiza, program director, at Christina@esperanca.org or 602-252-7772, ext. 11.
