YWCA financial literacy class begins |
The YWCA’s Wi$eUp Financial Literacy classes, set to begin Sept. 16, teach women how money works, how to manage money and how to make money work for them. Each week, a highly experienced professional will join the class to provide insight into financial matters. YWCA Wi$eUp focuses on Money for Life, Money Math, Money Basics, Credit, Lending, Renting & Home Buying, Insurance & Risk Management, Investing, and Financial Security. The classes take place Wednesdays for nine weeks (through Nov. 11) at Fresh Start Women’s Foundation, 1130 E. McDowell Road.
