Grant allows school to publish for free |
One lucky school will have the opportunity to publish its students’ literary work thanks to a Kids Can Publish Five Star Grant that covers 100 percent of the price for Five Star Publications’ Copper Publishing Plan valued at $995. A poetry anthology, a school’s history, a “green” book, a publication of students’ favorite recipes or a collection of themed stories from students are just a few ideas that schools can explore when they submit an application for the Five Star Grant.
To apply for the grant, visit www.CafeGranted.com and click on “KCP Five Star Grant” to download a grant application, which includes guidelines and stipulations—one of which is that the book must be entirely written and designed by the school’s students. The deadline to apply is Oct. 16, and the winner will be announced by Nov. 2. To learn what is included in the Copper Publishing Plan, visit www.FiveStarExpressPress.com or call 480-940-8182. |
