Berenstain Bears visit library
The beloved Berenstain Bears visit Phoenix Public Library with a special exhibit of original art, sketches, page layouts, printer proofs, original manuscripts and photographs, through Jan. 12 at Burton Barr Central Library, 1221 N. Central Ave.

ImageVisitors will get to travel through the complete 15-step bookmaking process that includes how the book, “The Berenstain Bears Out West,” was developed, written, illustrated and printed.

The complete exhibit is open to the public 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays and 1 to 5 p.m. Sundays. Original Berenstain artwork will be on display through Jan. 12 at Central Library’s Center for Children’s Literature during regular library hours.
