It’s that time of year again to check your Medicare benefits and make sure you get the best plan for your personal needs. The Area Agency on Aging, Region One’s Benefits Assistance Program offers free presentations this month at its office, 1366 E. Thomas Road, Ste. 108.

    Medicare recipients can learn about Medicare choices for 2010, compare different plans, bring a list of current prescriptions to help identify the plan that is best for you, and apply for extra help with prescription drug costs.

    Presentations take place 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10 and 9 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 17. Additional presentations will be held in December.
