Enjoy three Saturday hikes this month led by Phoenix park rangers; with the upcoming budget cuts, these may be the last few planned hikes for a while.

            • Ten to the End Hike (#62788), 9-10:30 a.m. March 13. A 10.8-mile hike on the Christiansen Trail (#100) from Tatum Blvd, to Mountain View Park . This hike it is rated as moderate to difficult. Shuttle service is included. Meet at Mountain View Park.

            • Interpretive Hike (#62762), 9-10:30 a.m. March 20. Learn about the flora and fauna and natural and human history of the area. Hike is easy to moderate and approximately 2.25 miles in length. Meet at the North Mountain Visitors Center, 12950 N. 7th St. This hike is repeated on March 27 (#62763).
