Pet of the month Rambunctious Bo needs active home

With little time to devote to long walks, playtime and training, Bo’s previous owner was no longer able to keep up with this rambunctious and fun-loving dog. At the age of 1, Bo always seeks a thrill and never holds back when it comes to exploring and adventure.

With his muscular Rottweiler build and the Siberian husky stamina, Bo is capable of keeping up with even the most ambitious athletes. He will need a spacious and secure grassy yard to play ball and show off his puppy-like antics.

Bo is a clever dog who knows the “sit” and “come” commands and also is housetrained. However, because he is a young adolescent dog, he is easily distracted and will need a dedicated coach to teach him some manners. Bo would love to have both kids and other canines to play with in his new home but a family meet-and-greet is required.

Bo is available for adoption at the Sunnyslope facility at 9226 N. 13th Ave. His adoption fee is $110, which includes his neuter surgery, vaccinations, a follow-up veterinary exam, a colorful collar and leash and an AHS I.D. tag. For more information about Bo call 602-997-7585, ext. 2045 and ask for animal I.D. number A292533.

Bo might have been adopted by the time you visit the shelter; however, the Arizona Humane Society has dozens more pets that also need loving homes. To see them visit http://www.az humane.org/findapet.
