Adult Day Health Care Caregiver’s Support Group, part of the John C. Lincoln Health Network, meets 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. the first Wednesday of the month at the Cowden Center, 9202 N. 2nd St.

    The topic for the April 7 meeting is “Exploring Compassion Fatigue: A Reality For Caregivers,” presented by Amy Farley, community educator, Affinity Hospice of Life. This program explores emotions and how compassion fatigue presents itself in the lives of caregivers. Attendees will learn coping skills, self-healing strategies, as well as how and where to seek support.
