 The bunkhouses and buildings have a strong southwestern flavor with open beam ceilings and tin roofs. Living groups of five campers, ages 9-16, share a two-bedroom, one-bathroom, bunkhouse suite. It is first and foremost a horsemanship camp. However, other amenities include a ceramics studio, athletic fields, full-sized gym and weight room, tennis courts, swimming pool, and rifle range. There also is a general store and Common Room with snack bar. Session I is June 27-July 11. Session II, July 11-25, is an intensified horsemanship program. There also is a one-week mini-camp option.

A five-day outdoor adventure camp in northern Arizona, visiting locations like Slide Rock in Sedona, hiking the Grand Canyon, exploring the Lava Tube Caves in Flagstaff, and more. The counselor-to-student ratio is 1:5. Cost is $495 and includes all meals, snacks, activity fees, camping gear, transportation and instruction. Partial scholarships available; discount for siblings. Camps are June 1-5 or July 5-9 for children entering 6-8th grades; and June 14-18 or Aug. 2-6 for those entering 9-12th grades.

    Camp includes fun games and activities; a youth group time with an age-appropriate message about the Christian faith, a clergy-led morning and afternoon prayer time, and great counselors to make the camp experience the best it can be. Weeklong camps begin June 6; camps are broken into age groups. Cost is $340 for children in lower grades and $375 for most camps in the high-school age area. Register online.

Ready to meet new friends, challenge yourself and have a fun-filled week in the cool pines of northern Arizona? The camp offers lots of activities—horseback riding, kayaking, rock climbing, hiking, arts and crafts, campfires, and more. Sessions start July 5, with Teen Week, for ages 13-15. This week offers additional leadership and team building challenges. Three more weekly sessions for kids 8-12 start July 11, 18 and 25. A national, non-profit organization that promotes lifelong self-esteem in young women, ages 12-17. From high ropes courses to rock climbing to team building, girls learn about themselves and how to work with others effectively. Wings Camp activities also include hiking, art projects, swimming, yoga, horseback riding, stars gazing, singing, dancing, skits, learning about money, learning about your body and self exploration, just to name a few. Girls even learn how to build a business.
