Kids play golf for free in Phoenix

Junior golfers ages 17 and under will play for free—every day, all day—at any of the three city of Phoenix nine-hole courses this summer, when accompanied by a paid adult. Golfers can enjoy the “Kids Play Free” program from June 1 through Aug. 31 at Encanto Short 9, 2300 N. 17th Ave., and Palo Verde 9, 6215 N. 15th Ave.

The program is designed to encourage families to enjoy golf together and to promote junior golf. The special is good for one youth per adult. If only one adult is present, additional kids’ rounds are only $5 each. Junior participants also will receive a free PING hat while supplies last.

Tee times can be booked online at phoenix.gov/golf or at 1-866-865-GOLF (4653).     Call 602-262-5088 or visit phoenix.gov/golf for details.
