Program offers info. on seeking capital

The Phoenix Metro Chapter of National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) will host a luncheon on Aug. 11 featuring keynote speaker Candace Hunter Wiest, CEO and president of the West Valley National Bank. Wiest will highlight the best options for raising capital and discuss how business owners can maximize their chances of securing funding.

    Prior to the luncheon, NAWBO University will offer a program titled Better Relationships Build Better Business, which begins at 9 a.m. Kim Mylls, an independent consultant and national vice president for Arbonne International, will speak.

    Cost for the luncheon, which starts at 11 a.m., is $48 for non-members prior to Aug. 6, and $63 until Aug. 10. Cost for the NAWBO University  is $15.
