MCACC offers free rabies vaccinations

Maricopa County Animal Care & Control’s Uno por Uno program is helping the community become a safer place by offering free rabies vaccination clinics in September.

Animals must be in good health and at least 3 months old. Dogs must be on a leash less than 6 feet in length and cats need to be in carriers. Clinics are held rain or shine; however, MCACC reserves the right to cancel or limit the clinic duration in the event of severe weather.

The vaccination clinics will take place 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 8, and Tuesday, Sept. 28, at MCACC, 2500 S. 27th Ave. The line begins outside, so be prepared for summer heat for you and your dog. Bring water for you and your pet and dress appropriately. Also be prepared to wait. For more information, visit  www.unoporuno.org.
