Royal Palms Baptist Church’s AWANA Club begins Wednesday, Sept. 1, and takes place 6-7:45 p.m. Wednesdays during the school year.

    AWANA stands for “Approved Workers are Not Ashamed,” taken from II Timothy 2:15. The weekly program is for all children ages 4 through sixth grade and includes games, Bible stories, scripture memory, missionary awareness, outings and lots of awards. You do not need to be a member of the church for your child to attend the club.

    Children are asked to bring 75 cents each Wednesday they attend to help offset the cost of the program. The church is located at 8802 N. 19th Ave. For more information, call 602-944-3306.
