The Sunnyslope Youth Center, 17th and Peoria avenues, is hosting a Break Dancing Contest 4-9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 4. No advance registration is required; sign up the day of the event. Cost is $10 to participate in the 2-on-2 competition, with a cash prize of $400. There also will be a graffiti showcase of live art in the courtyard.
