Memory training class boosts recall for seniors

    Are you 60 or older? Do you have trouble remembering names, dates and other information—but are otherwise in good mental and physical health? If you answered “yes,” then this weekly Memory Training class is for you.

    By devoting just two hours per week for five weeks, you will have fun and improve your memory through presentations, group discussions, memory strategies and skill building. This program is .based on research by Gary Small MD., author of “The Memory Bible.”

    The program takes place 1-3 p.m. Mondays, Sept. 13-Oct. 11, at the City of Phoenix Personnel Building, Basement, 135 N. 2nd Ave. Cost is $25 per person. Registration and prepayment required. Call Veronica Ellis at 602-839-6850 or e-mail veronica.ellis@bannerhealth.com.
