Law school hosts two events for the public
Arizona Superintendent of Public Instruction Tom Horne is the next speaker in the Phoenix School of Law “Access to Justice” speaker series, which takes place 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 19. The school also will host its annual “Minority Law Day” 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Saturday, March 29.

Horne’s topic will be “Reflections of a Recovering Lawyer: Thoughts on Legal Education, Public Education, and Public Service.” The event is free and open to the public.

    During the “Law Day” event, attendees can meet faculty members, speak to admissions recruiters and hear from minority student leaders. There will be two panel discussions, “What is Law School Really Like?” and “Minorities: Underrepresented in the Legal Profession.”
