New art installed in 7th Ave. panels

The Phoenix Office of Arts and Culture and Seventh Avenue Merchants Association (SAMA) on April 4 unveiled new artwork and poetry in the streetscape panels at 7th and Glenrosa avenues.  The panels display reproductions of original works created by Arizona artists and poets through the Office of Arts and Culture Public Art Program (phoenix.gov/arts). This is the fourth collection of artwork exhibited in the panels, which were installed in May 2004 for use as an ongoing urban gallery. The new installations will be up for six months.
