Teacher seeks needed calculators

A local eighth-grade math teacher is asking for the community’s help in gathering 30 graphing calculators for her fall algebra class.     Marcia Corby, who teaches at an area Title 1 school, explains that because of ongoing budget cuts, she has been forced to come up with the calculators herself. Corby is attempting to get as many donated as possible, and will have to pay for the rest out of her own pocket.     If you or your company can sponsor some of these graphing calculators, or for more information, contact Corby at 602-284-0422.
