Family portraits aid ‘Operation Smile’
During October, photographers from across the country are joining together with PPA Charities (the philanthropic arm of Professional Photographers of America) in promoting “Family Portrait Month.” This national fundraising effort will benefit Operation Smile, which treats children around the world who suffer with cleft lips, cleft palates and other facial deformities.

Participating photographers, including North Central Phoenix’s Erin Kenly Photography, have pledged to contribute a portion of each October family portrait sale to PPA Charities, which has chosen Operation Smile as its charitable partner.

To view a list of local studios participating in Family Portrait Month, visit familyportraitmonth.com. For further information, contact Erin Kenly, owner, Erin Kenly Photography, at 602-799-6388 or ErinKenly@yahoo.com. Kenly also will have some of her works on display during the Scene on 16 Street Fair, 12-5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 12, at the southwest corner of 16th Street and Bethany Home Road.
