Rivalry benefits needy children

During their recent national football championship game, the Phoenix-area alumni from the University of Oklahoma and the University of Florida competed to see who could do the most good for needy children in the community.

The UF Desert Gators donated hundreds of new and gently used children’s books, toys and games while the Arizona OU Sooners raised $1,717 for John C. Lincoln’s Desert Mission children’s programs.
