Art Walk returns to Sunnyslope

The Sunnyslope Art Walk returns for a third installment on Saturday, April 18, along the east side of Central Avenue between Dunlap and Ruth avenues from 6 to 10 p.m.

    Nearly 100 artists will sell original work in watercolor, acrylic and oil, along with jewelry, glass, woodworking, textiles and more. The artists will exhibit in the Sunnyslope Village Center west parking area, Bombero’s Cafe and Wine Bar and Nielsen Galleries. An additional display will be across the street in front of the office of Marlene Imirzian & Associates, Architects, at 8906 N. Central Ave.

 

Parking is available in the other areas of the Village Center lot, as well as at the Cowden Center, 9202 N. 2nd St.; a free shuttle will be provided from the Cowden Center to the Art Walk.

    Live music will be performed  beginning at 6 p.m. Several restaurants will be open, but no street food sales will be available. For more information, visit www.sunnyslope community.org.
